A Penn State graduate student was fined for allegedly chalking anti-sweatshop messages on University property. The student has been charged with criminal mischief, but alleges that the university is singling her out for punishment because of her involvement with the Student Labor Action Project and United Students Against Sweatshops. The University spokesman has called her case “a real simple case of vandalism.”
