Darfur Advocacy Continues

Big Red Relief, a student group at Cornell University, staged a concert last week in an effort to raise both money for, and awareness of, the ongoing genocide in Darfur. The group raised $7,000 for the World Food Program through the concert. In other Darfur news, American University’s Eagle reports on a new feature of Google Earth that may help Darfur activists’ cause: together with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Google has launched a new feature that allows users to view the 1,600-plus villages that have been damaged or destroyed in the western region of Sudan.
