A Convenient Opportunity to Debate

The members of the University of Northern Colorado’s Environmental Studies Club held a screening of the Al Gore movie “An Inconvenient Truth.” The movie, which is an explanation of global warming evidence and the devastation that could result from unchecked warming, drew an audience of skeptics and supporters. Members of the club expressed their belief that the state of Colorado could become a leader in renewable energy technologies (which are already being instituted at some other Colorado schools). A hot student debate took place after the reading and really, that’s what it’s all about.
