A Georgetown-Worthy GPA

A Flat Hat article from the College of William and Mary looks at the controversy surrounding the recent revelation of a Georgetown basketball player's less-than-stellar high school transcripts. The athlete worked around his abysmal academic record by spending time at Lutheran Christian Academy, an unaccredited prep school. The NCAA changed rules regarding unaccredited prep schools in 2006, but with the post-championship coaching shuffle, the issue of ethical collegiate recruiting is once again at the fore.
