A Green February at Bryn Mawr
Date: 11/17/2008 05:28 pm
Together with Facilities Services and Dining Services, the Bryn Mawr Greens are challenging their campus to go on an Energy Diet. The goal of the Energy Diet Campaign is for the campus to use five percent less energy during February than it did during November (a similar month in terms of energy demands). The Greens will also hold a variety of educational events during the month, from a showing of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth to a “Scavengery Hunt.” As a policy-based compliment to the Energy Diet, organizers will be introducing a Plenary resolution calling for the administration to purchase ten percent of their energy from alternative fuel sources within five years.
