About 25 members of the Student Coalition Against Labor Exploitation (SCALE) at the University of Southern California attempted to storm the University President's office to protest the use of sweatshop labor in University apparel. The demonstration seems to have caused some damage to the group’s relationship with administrators, as SCALE members had earlier promised to hold their demonstration in the school’s student center in order not to disturb a television shoot (which was, in fact, disturbed).
