“American Colleges and University President’s Climate Commitment” Working Its Magic

The University of Denver has created a Sustainability Council in response to a nationwide student effort at over 200 universities to combat global warming. The creation of this council is the first in a series of steps outlined in the American Colleges and University President's Climate Commitment signed by DU’s Chancellor last June. The council is charged with the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions at DU.
