The University of Chicago’s Student Government recently voted to join seven other Chicago colleges to conserve energy by turning off their lights for an hour on March 29th as part of Earth Hour. Some Chicago businesses, like the Sears Tower and the John Hancock Building, will be participating in the hour-long event as well.
