APA Conference For Five College Students

Asian Pacific Americans held their first Five College conference, hosting over 120 students, themed “Emerge, Empower, Embrace.” The Five College system in Massachusetts encompasses the students of Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and UMass Amherst. Although Asian Pacific students had organizations on each of the Five College campuses, there was no central community—a lack this conference was designed to redress.
