Arizona to Expand Universities

The Arizona Board of Regents are attempting to increase the number of college graduates in the state by expanding the states’ three state universities. Among the expansion plans, Arizona would build “stand-alone campuses” in rural communities.  The University system is also planning to work more closely with community colleges to make it easier to transfer and to expand online courses and distance learning programs.
