The Association of Black Business Students at the University of Washington sold beads last week to raise money for Bead for Life, a nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty in Uganda. The organization aims to reduce poverty by teaching the women of Uganda a marketable skill: to make beads out of recycled paper and sell them to help support their families.
