Nine nursing students enrolled in U Penn’s Infant and Maternal Care in the Americas course will soon be traveling to Honduras to provide aid and improve health care in impoverished communities. For the first time in the trip’s three years of existence, one of the students will be keeping a blog of the groups experiences in an effort to stay connected with the student community back at U Penn. Much of the blogging will take place before the trip, to raise money and gather material donations from the campus community. While in Honduras, the students will be working with the national non-profit organization Shoulder-to-Shoulder. Read more from the University of Pennsylvania |
