In the days leading up to the Maine Caucus both Barack Obama and Chelsea Clinton spoke extensively to students throughout the state of Maine. Demonstrating the increasing importance of the youth vote, they addressed student issues such as college loans, higher education, and health care. The Democratic caucus, held on February 10th drew student supporters for both candidates from the University of Maine to the University of Southern Maine.
