Cleaning Up the ‘Hood

Ohio State University students cleaned off-campus streets with gloves and garbage bags as part the Clean Sweep program, an Undergraduate Student Government effort to keep the area clean and make students proud of their community. The USG offers 25 student groups $300 per quarter to clean up designed off-campus streets every other week, as well as doing additional optional projects (landscaping, graffiti removal, etc.) for prizes.
