On Feb. 7, the House of Representatives passed the College Opportunity and Affordability Act, reauthorizing the Higher Education Act of 1965. The Act includes reforms to the private lending system, an increase to the maximum Pell Grant award, measures to make college costs more transparent and require textbooks publishers to provide further disclosure of textbook prices.
