Community Improvement Project

About 2,000 students from the University of Texas spent last Saturday picking up trash and planting gardens in East Austin for Project 2008, a community beautification event. Students and community members volunteered at schools, churches, and all along the streets of Austin painting, landscaping, and cleaning up for the annual project.
