At the University of Chicago, students involved with Students Taking Action Now: Darfur (STAND) and the Coalition for Immediate Divestment (CID)were joined by United State Representative Bobby Rush as they protested the University’s decision not to divest from companies that provide support to the Sudanese Government.  The march and protest was organized around a board of trustees meeting at the Graduate School of Business.  Organizers of the protest, which was met by locked doors at the board meeting, pledged to continue their efforts.
