This weekend in D.C., tens of thousands of people protested against the War in Iraq. At Ohio State University, an unlikely alliance of students formed a Anti-War Coalition to travel together to D.C. (and, although the Campus Republicans disagreed with the protest, they applauded the civic participation.) The Iowa State Daily included coverage of the student group Time for Peace’s weekly rally against the war; the group’s “principles of practice” also encourage any discussion about the United States’ policies and military engagements, whether in favor or opposition.
