The University of California Los Angeles Bruin Republicans are bringing in speakers and screening a movie on campus for Political Correctness Week. The Bruin Republicans contend that political correctness on campus in effect violates academic freedom and stifles the free exchange of ideas.  They also argued that UCLA's Academic Advancement Program, which provides services such as advisement for first generation and underrepresented groups, is inappropriate for a public institution.
