Delta Zeta Discussion Spreads

Talk of DePauw University’s Delta Zeta controversy is spreading through the campus world. An article in the Indiana Daily Student at Indiana University takes an in-depth look at the Delta Zeta situation at DePauw University. Reportedly, Delta Zeta nationals asked every overweight or minority member of the DePauw chapter, which was struggling with recruitment, to accept alumnae status and vacate their house. An editorial from Texas Christian University argues that the Delta Zeta sorority—one of three finalists for that school’s addition to campus Greek life—should lose its position in the running because of the nationals’ actions—and the omission of the controversy from a recent Panhellenic Council appearance.
