Fourteen Dickenson students will be heading to Jamaica this winter break, repairing hurricane damage to buildings and working with local children. The “Serve the World” trip is one of two happening this year at Dickinson, with the second coming during Spring Break. Over 40 students applied to travel to the third world country (yup, that tourist destination is also a third world nation—pat yourself on the back if you already knew that!) but funding constraints kept the trip down to 14 students.
