Doctors-to-Be Like Health Coverage Too

The
American Medical Student Association (apparently the largest and oldest
student-governed independent organization in the nation) organized over 300 California students to demonstrate in support of a state
senate bill that would provide universal health care to the people of California. Cali’s legislature passed
the same bill in 2005, but the Terminator (er, Governor) vetoed it. Along with
a rally on the capitol steps, students attended legislative meetings with state
senators and assembly members.
