Drinking Water for Africa

Six graduate students at Arizona State University have created a machine that takes water from the air and purifies it to make fresh drinking water.  The students, who are all members of the university's African Students' Association, won ASU's Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge in September. They’re now working with Alter-Air Corp. to market the machine in areas of Africa where fresh drinking water is scarce.
