In response to continuing attacks on students from the Recording Industry Association of America, the University of Wisconsin’s Division of Information Technology has produced an educational video meant to inform students and dispel any misconceptions about file sharing in order to help students protect themselves. UW students are required to watch the video before they are permitted access to the university’s network.
