As the 2008 presidential election progresses, the significant increase in youth voting is getting both students’ and candidates’ attention. Beyond voting, students on campus are becoming more involved in the campaign process, are actively encouraging others to become involved and are finding creative ways to inform fellow students. A Harvard sophomore has launched VoteGopher.com, a website designed to compare candidates by issue and educate citizens of all ages to make informed choices about political candidates.
