Perhaps you heard the buzz about the Video The Vote project this past election. Basically, while voting problems are very rare, they can be devastating (and, some people would point out, they tend to happen in certain kinds of communities, whatever the reason). Video the Vote was an attempt to catch misinformation or voter disenfranchisement on tape—and perhaps even keep it from happening. According to this article from the OSU Lantern, the video project illuminated voter problems at Ohio State University, where there was a misunderstanding about appropriate forms of voter identification.
