The Engineers Without Borders group at the University of Massachusetts traveled to a small village in Kenya to improve drinking water, which is the source of many diseases that plague villagers. The Engineers Without Borders group at Colorado State University is hosting the second annual Globe-Trot 5K to benefit the group and their projects, which have included providing thermoelectric stoves to people without access to electricity, and helping people in underdeveloped countries find water sources in times of drought.
