Friday marked the final stretch of Facebook’s "Causes Giving Challenge” to raise funds and awareness for various nonprofit startup groups. The fifty-day contest awarded monetary prizes to the nonprofit causes with the highest number of donors. Former Washington University student Julie Katz's won $2,931 in donations and $1,000 from the Case Foudation to fund her program, “Everybody Wins! South Florida” which supports children's literacy.
