Reacting to student concerns, the University of South Carolina joined the Workers’ Rights Consortium, a collection of 175 schools committed to using sweat-shop free school apparel.  One of USC’s suppliers was recently identified as using sweatshop labor, and students are now pushing for further labor friendly commitments from the University.
