Former Northeastern Student Writing Book Detailing Administration’s Mistreatment

Former Northeastern University student Ashley Mendivil has begun research for a book she plans to write to expose flaws in the university’s advising and financial assistance departments. Mendivil was briefly enrolled in Northeastern as a transfer student but was unable to receive the financial aid promised to her, and was forced to leave the university after only one semester. She hopes to investigate her case and others in which universities fail to meet student needs.
