It’s not just the soaring tuition fees that students all over the country are dealing with nowadays —housing has also become a headache. A national housing shortage has many colleges and universities scrambling for solutions to this problem. Many students such as those at Smith College in Massachusetts and Luther College in Iowa have been placed in temporary housing. While others, such as Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina, lost prospective students due to the shortage of dorm rooms.
