Five Jewish students, six Christians, and seven Muslims from SUNY Environmental Science & Forestry and Syracuse University are traveling together on an interfaith expedition. The one-week trip to Turkey is designed to forge bonds between students of the three faiths. On a lighter note, a multicultural organization at the University of North Carolina organized a fashion show to raise awareness of different cultures on campus. The student group Masala focused on couples of different cultural backgrounds with their show, “My Big Fat Multicultural Wedding.”
