GSA Rallies for Equality in Marriage

The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) at Muhlenberg College held a rally last week to promote equality in marriage. The rally, which drew 14 students, was held in conjunction with the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) and the Pennsylvania Diversity Network. After speeches—including one from the GSA’s co-President—gay couples who were in a committed relationship requested marriages licenses (which were, as expected, denied) in order to draw media attention to discrimination against gay men and women.
