Police in Greensboro N.C. have dropped charges against six Guilford College students arrested after a January incident put three Palestinian students in the hospital. Police cited a number of factors in the decision to drop charges, including conflicting witness testimony. Guilford College is conducting its own investigation into the incident, and the students who were charged still face the possibility of expulsion at their Judicial Review Board sentencings. The incident has raised some of the common complaints against judicial review boards, especially surrounding the secrecy of hearings.
