On the heels of a similar event at the University of California Santa Barbara, Christian students at Washington State University have offered their apologies for misrepresenting the teachings of Jesus. Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) drew some ire from the student body at James Madison University for their recent and visible “Beer is Proof” campaign. An editorial from JMU’s paper The Breeze defends CRU’s efforts, chiding the rest of the student body for casting the first stone from its comfortable position of affected apathy.
