A team of students from the University of Utah and Birzeit University in Palestine won an international engineering contest last month for developing a method to recycle harmful waste produced by olive oil mills. The contest was held by Mondialogo, an organization set up by the United Nations and Daimler, and created to encourage international student cooperation and action addressing needs in developing countries.
