It’s a Shame About Fraud…

We’re not sure which to commend more: the student government of the University of Alabama proposing election reforms, or the student newspaper, The Crimson White, surveying student feelings about the proposed reforms. According to the paper’s (nonscientific) poll, a slim majority of students object to making elections student-run affairs (they’re currently run by the administration). However, a majority of students approve of the second proposal—a return to online voting. That being said, students agree that both reforms would make the system increasingly open to election fraud—something that the campus has a rather distinguished history of.
