Ivy Leagues Getting Ivier?

At least two of the nation’s top schools had record numbers of applicants—and record-low acceptance rates. Brown University broke the two records in opposite directions. A record number of 19,044 applications were sent to the University, but Brown only accepted 13.5% of them (for a total of 2,577 accepted students). The same situation arose at Princeton University, where of 18,942 candidates only 1,791 were accepted: a record-low acceptance rate of 9.5%.
