Schools around the nation continue to spread the green initiative. New York University is hoping to do its part by eliminating the use of plastic bottles. By switching to a water filtration system from water coolers, NYU hopes students will be less inclined to use plastic bottles, which create waste. University of California-Los Angeles is also continuing its efforts to go and stay green.  UCLA will be holding their second annual green concert.  Along with live bands, student organizations will be given the chance to tell the UCLA community about their cause.  With the changes on campuses, as well as active student participation, universities across the country are trying to sway the majority of the campus to follow in their green efforts.
