Indiana University’s Latina sorority, Gamma Phi Omega, has made a commitment to educate students about HIV/AIDS in minority communities. Gamma Phi Omega has partnered with Bloomington’s Latino Cultural Center and held several campus events to build awareness and support for The HIV Emergency Local Partnership Act of 2007, a bill designed to raise grant money for health clinics in states where minorities are most affected by HIV/AIDS.
