Law Students Aid in Asylum

Two University of Tulsa law students helped a man from Eritrea to gain asylum in the United States. Eritea, an east African country just above “the horn,” is listed as a CPC (Country of Particular Concern) by the U.S. State Department because of its reputation for religious persecution. The students worked on the case through the Immigrant Rights Project of the Boesche Legal Clinic.
