Loyola Students Protest Torture

Students with the Loyola Anti-War Network (LAWN) held a 24-hour vigil against torture as the culmination of their Torture Awareness Week. The group focused its efforts on America’s use of controversial interrogation and detention techniques at Guantánamo Bay, and on the 2006 Military Commission Act, the document that many claim provides the justification for America’s use of torture.
