Raul De Jesus, at 20 years old, is the youngest candidate to ever run for mayor in Hartford, Connecticut. Only having graduated from high school two years ago, De Jesus plans to help the younger generation by improving the school system and police station. He sees himself as a standard bearer for “the political youth movement.”
