An article from the University of Kentucky examines the latest trend in collegiate housing—gender neutral housing. Although UK students have reportedly not expressed any interest in the housing option, a Kernel reporter found support—albeit somewhat shyly expressed—in the campus’s sexual support community. Gender-neutral housing is often promoted as especially important (though not uniquely important) for transgender students.
