With the rapid number of Muslim students increasing every year, student concerns on where they are allowed to pray is rising. At the University of Missouri, the local student paper, The Maneater, writes that prayer times for Muslim students coincides with class time, making it difficult for students to find a quiet place to practice their faith. The Muslim Student Organization has taken steps to discuss with faculty on using spaces on campus, such as the Chapel, so as to have a quiet, respected, prayer space.
