Nightlife for a Cause

Nightlife For A Cause, a new event-coordinating company at the University of Southern California held its first promotional event at the end of January. Nightlife For A Cause, started by a group of four USC students and alumnae, donates 20 percent of the revenues from each event to a charity of the company’s choosing. Their first event, “Operation 2008 Drinks,” an army-themed party, donated over $250 to the Army Emergency Relief Foundation which provides support for soldiers and their families. Although Nightlife For A Cause lost money on their first event, over 400 students attended and its founders are optimistic about the company’s future.
