Oberlin Goes Climate-Neutral

Oberlin’s President Nancy Dye has committed to developing a plan for Oberlin College to go climate-neutral as soon as possible. The Environmental Policy Implementation Group (EPIG)—a coalition of students advocating for, and helping to implement, Oberlin’s environmental policy—paved the way for the President’s decision by bringing the commitment to climate neutrality before the Student Senate, which voted in favor and brought the proposal to President Dye. For any of you who’ve missed the wind-powered boat, a climate-neutral campus releases no climate-changing greenhouses gases into the atmosphere.
