Outreach Programs Face Budget Cuts

At the University of California Los Angeles, student outreach programs that provide community service to Los Angeles are facing budget cuts this summer. Projects that are funded by the Student Initiated Access Center, which is in turn funded by student fees, will likely go under the knife. The Student Initiated Access Center says that mandated pay raises and excess transportation costs are the cause of next year's cuts.
