Phone drive to aid victims of domestic violence

The Alpha Chi Omega Sorority at the University of Alabama teamed up with Verizon to run a
drive on campus to collect out-of-use cell phones. Once collected, the phones were re-furbished
or recycled, and the proceeds from sales are used to provide free phones and
air-time to victims of domestic violence.
