Student groups like the College Democrats have spent the last few months campaigning like crazy; pushing register students, and get them out to the polls. And now their hard work paid off and their candidate won – cause for nothing short of sheer celebration on campuses across the country. For conservative students, last night’s events were less than festive, as College Republicans watched their candidate, decidedly the underdog, lose key states and eventually concede his loss.
